GIOF ANNOUNCES THE WINNERS OF THE GIOF2021 STARTUP PITCH COMPETITION

The Global Inclusion Online Forum announces the winners of the GIOF2021 Startup Pitch Competition.
Uncrowd.io, presented by Forest Richter, won in the Financial Inclusion category! In the United States, less than 10% of venture funding goes to Women, People of Color, and LGBTQ startup founders. Uncrowd.io efficiently connects investors with underrepresented founders.
In the Accessibility category the first place went to Ravenseye, presented by Lukas Simianer! RavensEye is the world's first e-learning platform for the visually impaired and blind. Their technology improves employment outcomes, increases inclusivity, and empowers blind and visually impaired people to increase their abilities and income potential.
Finally, Eleanor Manley with her Metta Space managed to win in the Diversity and Equality category! Metta Space is a Deep Tech B2B platform to help companies eradicate sexual harassment at the workplace.
These amazing startups will get prizes from partners and organizers, which include a free exhibitor package at GIOF 2022, mentorship sessions run by top industry professionals, extra networking opportunities, and other benefits.
This year organizers received more than 80 applications from startup coming from all around the world. Pr startup fianlists were evaluated in real time during the online live pitch presentations. Evaluation was conducted by the GIOF's proffesianall jury, among them were Raj Burman, CEO at Techfugees, Melinda Briana Epler, Founder and CEO at Change Catalyst, Ayumi Moore Aoki, Founder and CEO of Women in Tech, Patrice Perkins, Director at Startup Grind Capital Region NY, Adam Patrick Fulham, Founder at Startup Network Europe, Nathalie Crosbie, Coach, Startup Investor and Advisor, Pete Horsley, Founder at Remarkable Technology Accelerator, Kathy Reagan Young, Founder, CEO at Patients Getting Paid, and Joe Thurman, CEO & Head of Product at interviewIA, the winner of the first edition of the GIOF Startup Pitch Competition.
The event was supported by its media partners F6S, Change Catalyst, Startup Grind, Startup Network Europe, Techfugees, Women in Tech and InterviewIA.
