This workshop will demonstrate the benefits of adopting a data-driven approach to better diversity and inclusion strategies. How can we create higher performing teams in an increasingly diverse and dynamic environment?

This is broken down into three core components; an understanding of how we can define cultural diversity beyond the standard criteria of gender and race, the advantages of adopting a Diversity Agile model as a core driver of your DEI work and how to implement transformational models of data gathering and analysis.

The cornerstone piece of this workshop is demonstrating a Diversity Agile approach: the Diversity Agile model for driving diversity and inclusion in the workplace based on achieving organizational competence across the three dimensions of diversity, mutuality and inclusion. As companies become more agile, they often become more innovative, responsive and see increased benefits in staff attraction and retention, amongst many other improvements. As a framework for actionable DEI strategies, a Diversity Agile approach can create meaningful and sustainable change. The workshop leader will engage participants in a variety of engaging and analytical activities, including diversity check listing and auditing processes, critical thinking and self-reflection discussions, as well as a participant led Q&A session with our expert facilitators.

In addition, participants will learn how to adopt new understandings of adaptive environments in influencing their diversity and inclusion work as well as to take a multifaceted & intersectional approach to data analysis, ensuring everybody counts and their cultural identities are respected, recognized and represented. By adopting such a mindset, organizational leaders can affect team performance in a more engaging, transformational way.
