Inclusive Design Canvas to Improve Work Spirit and Culture

May 21, 2022 4:30 PM CET BUY TICKETS Price: 125 USD

THE WORKSHOP REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

Designing inclusive environments can be challenging, but nowadays it is a business essential. With his talk, Dr. Zallio will outline some of the key findings from the research he led at the University of Cambridge, and he will run a live demonstration of the tools he developed with his team. The first demonstration will unfold the potential of the Inclusive Design Canvas for different design teams. The Inclusive Design Canvas is a strategic design template that offers an educational springboard for design professionals to embed Inclusive Design in the design process and to build the business case for Inclusive Design.

The second will highlight the potential of the IDEA audit, a mixed-method post-occupancy evaluation system that helps professionals to collect building occupants’ data on the perception of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility. The data analytics highlights to the design team the points of exclusions to be solved with bespoke design actions for different clients.

This will be a live demonstration to allow all participants to ask questions and build a partnership for future collaborations.

The duration of the workshop is 1 hour.
