The need for technology in the new 'remote work' post pandemic reality

Technology and algorithms often get a bad reputation for Diversity & Inclusion and employee engagement, often perhaps appropriately.

But the pandemic has changed the world of work for many of us, with employees wanting more purpose at work, greater employee engagement and diversity expectations. This is all in a workplace that is likely to be remote or hybrid - meaning as managers we perhaps won't be able to rely on as much face to face to manage our teams.

James will draw on recent industry case studies and research by Simply research partner the University of Birmingham to examine how the world of work has changed and explore how technology can help us a managers prepare for these trends into the future.

James will introduce how people first HR technology company Simply has adapted methods of recruitment proven to increase employee engagement and diversity, namely values based recruitment and blind hiring methodologies, into an easy to use HR technology.
