Moreover, as final decisions are still made by individuals, organizations must be aware that every decision made solely is inevitably affected by individual biases. Employee Benefits can be a key deciding factor for potential employees who are choosing their next workplace and a morale booster for existing employees, especially those who identify as Black, Indigeious and People of Color (BIPOC) and within other underrepresented communities. Many people with disabilities are never enrolled into the school, there are many different factors for having their families making this decision. For this reason, it is hard for them to find a formal job where they can boost their potential and build an independent life. Walmart México and Central America is leading the inclusion of People with Disabilities creating inclusive ecosystems across region. By the end of 2021, more than 6,000 people with disabilities were included on the workforce of the company.

In this keynote Valentina Kordi will address why, although so many organizations are nowadays willing to embrace inclusivity as part of their culture that will increase employee retention and engagement, it still hasn’t been effectively integrated and successfully achieved and how it can turn into an ordinary behavior in the workplace, in practice.
